Develop international and expansion strategies that consider technology, organizational change, timing of benefits and investments, sourcing strategies and project management best practices. Identify array of options at the strategic cross-roads, and assesses the relative risks, cost-benefit, and market attractiveness to result in the highest priority opportunities.

Strategic Management

Leverage in-depth understanding of industry and products to streamline the effort of developing and managing RFP process for partner/vendor selection, including requirements, forecasting, service levels, benchmarking, and contract negotiation for a wide range of situations including IT platforms for credit cards and lending, processors, mobile wallets, e-commerce, cobrand, private label, commercial card. Develop cost-benefit analysis for selecting among alternatives such as in-house vs. licensed software or processing. Work with merchants to optimize their cost of payment acceptance.

Technology and Operations

Gather strategic business aspirations and assess the alignment of underlying technology, resulting in strategic roadmap for improvements. Gather requirements from individual banks and consortiums to gain consensus on target operating model for emerging payment needs, including business/revenue model, governance, user experience, and vendor selection. Re-engineer operations with focus on change management and reduction of operational costs, tracked by metrics dashboard.


Advise start-ups and investors on emerging payments, market dynamics and business models, business strategy, product viability. Conduct due diligence on acquisition targets including assessment of product offerings, back-office, technology, sales approach, channels and digital strategies.
